Trail Life USA works cooperatively with Operation Christmas Child to allow Trailmen to order free boxes from Samaritan’s Purse to use with this project. Order them now so that you can receive your shoeboxes with plenty of time to coordinate this project ahead of the Christmas season. Yeah, it’s early, but plan now for a successful project.

We had our welcome back meeting for this school year. As of our welcome back meeting we had 12 new leaders and about 15 new scouts. What a wild meeting. We issued uniforms and books if they could recite the Trailman oath and motto, show a proper salute and explain when and where to use it. Then we ate pizza!
We had worked on recruiting leaders over the summer break. Last Tuesday we had a parent/leader meeting to explain the Trail Life program. We are right at 1 leader for every 2 boys.
The Holy Spirit is doing things, and it's fun to watch.
AK-1412 North Pole
Troop AK-1412 held its open house and added 19 new trailmen. We also had our second annual joint camporee with the local American Heritage Girl troop at Camp Li-Wa.
